**Position Summary:**
Gastroenterologist in the practice specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of disorders related to the gastrointestinal (GI) tract. The disorders that are treated are Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD), Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), and Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD), liver diseases such as hepatitis, cirrhosis, and fatty liver disease Gastroenterologists perform upper endoscopy and colonoscopy procedures. The group consists of 14 Physicians and 3 NPs. We have Lab and X-ray on site. Schedule of Monday-Friday. No Weekend Clinic requirements. Clinic call requirements are via telephone only. Around 20 patients load for a day. EMR is Epic.
**Position Requirement:**
-M.D. or D.O. from an accredited school of medicine or osteopathy from a recognized institution.
-Gastroenterology fellowship completion.
-Board Certified/ Board Eligible in Gastroenterology.
-A valid New Jersey State Medical license, DEA, and CDS are required.
-Maintains CME credit hours as required for Board Certification and/or hospital staff privileges.
