- Academic Employment- Seeking a board certified/board eligible Pediatric Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation physician to provide care on the inpatient CARF-accredited unit located at Medical Center.

- New graduates are encouraged to apply!The PM&R Department serves the rehabilitation needs of the 1.4 million people in a 29-county region of eastern North CarolinaThe Medical Center's 75-bed inpatient unit is one of few rehabilitation facilities in the U.S. accredited by the Committee on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) in eleven or more specialty areas. Job Highlights include:- Employment by Physicians-Academic Employment Model- Privileges at Health Medical Center, a 974-bed level 1 trauma center- Growing 9-hospital physician led healthcare system- Established division inclusive of 9 faculty members- State of the art 75-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit inclusive of dedicated pediatric rehab beds- Inpatient and outpatient clinical responsibilities- Participation in the training of residents, medical students, and other allied health students- Research is supported and is a valued component of the position- 29-county catchment area with large built-in referral network Greenville, NC Widely recognized as the thriving cultural, educational, economic and medical hub of eastern North Carolina, Greenville is the 10th largest city in the state with a metropolitan population of nearly 100,000.
