Job Details Job Location Maintenance - Atco, NJ Position Type Full Time Education Level High School Travel Percentage Up to 50% Job Shift Day Description Specific duties and responsibilities: Reports to work on time ready to work, maintain a positive work attitude and ethic, and works well with others. Performs the installation, maintenance, service, and repair of equipment on Archway Programs campus and surrounding Group Homes, as outlined in printed and verbal work orders, in a safe and efficient manner. Duties include, but not limited to: light plumbing, light electrical, carpentry, painting, grounds/landscaping work, equipment and furniture moves, garbage/debris removal, snow removal, inventory, rotating on-call duty with other maintenance personnel, etc. Troubleshoots problems as needed to resolve maintenance issues in an efficient and effective manner. Quickly reports needs and concerns to supervisor. Completes required documentation in accordance with department directives and expectations. Responsible for the cleanliness of their assigned maintenance vehicle, tools and/or equipment and helps to keep the maintenance workshop & storage areas clean and orderly. Performs other duties as assigned including general custodial duties at all Archway properties as needed. School custodial duties include, but not limited to: clearing clogged toilets, mopping spills, monitoring/replenishing paper goods, minor repairs to school furniture, performing fire drills/equipment checks, assisting school visitors, assisting teachers and staff with their daily needs, reporting activities requiring additional maintenance manpower, maintaining a generally safe and welcoming environment for special needs students. Qualifications High School diploma required. Ability to pass a NJ School Background History Screening. Maintenance experience required includes basic carpentry, painting, and drywall skills. Basic (working) knowledge of light plumbing and electric required. Must be able to bend and lift consistently throughout the day, and lift up to 75 lbs. throughout the day without difficulty. Must be able to climb ladders, transition from a ladder, crawl through tight spaces without difficulty. Must possess a current, valid driver's license.
