Arcosa Brand is Hiring a Production Worker Near Boulder, CO

Arcosa Lightweight is searching for a Production Worker for our Boulder, CO plant. As a Production Worker, you will foster a positive safety culture while operating equipment, maintaining designated work areas, and assisting with plant projects within a 24/7 aggregate environment that is regulated by MSHA safety standards.
Arcosa Lightweight is a leading producer and distributor in the Western and Southwestern U.S. of lightweight and natural aggregates, including expanded shale and clay, crushed stone, sand and gravel, asphalt rock, and other products.

• Hourly Pay is $24-$27 per hour.
What You Will Do:
• Comply with all industry safety rules, procedures and applicable government regulations including but not limited to ensuring a safe working environment for self and others
• Participate in plant safety initiatives, committees and activities
• Conduct mandatory MSHA pre-shift inspections on equipment and work areas in the plant
• Maintain contact with the kiln operators and quality control to ensure that there is adequate material of the right size and quality to satisfy the demands of the burning department
• Operate plant equipment such as a skid steer, loader, dingo and more as needed
• Assist or participate in the repair, dismantling, installation or change in stationary plant equipment
• Shovel, sweep, pick up trash, paint and do general cleanup of the plant area
• Climb into and around mobile and plant equipment for necessary maintenance projects
• Lift items and products weighing up to 100lbs
• Perform other duties as assigned 
What You Will Need:
• 1-year experience in construction, mining, production or similar work environment, preferred
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Prompt, regular and predictable attendance
• The ability to stand, stoop, bend, lift up to 100 lbs, walk, climb stairs, ladders and catwalks up to 60 feet as required for up to 12 hours per day
• The ability to work in varied outdoor environments (cold, hot, dry, dusty, rainy, snowy, icy)
• Ability to work day or night shifts that could also include rotating shifts
• Ability to be trained in mobile and industrial plant equipment
• Shift: 5 days a week, 7AM – 7PM
Working Conditions and physical environment: While most equipment has air conditioning, there will be times when other responsibilities may require periods of work in all weather conditions including heat, cold, wet, dry, and dusty. Regularly sitting, standing, walking, talking, hearing. Vision requirements include close vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Frequent use of hands and arms. Requires ability to lift, carry, push or pull medium weights, up to 75lbs. Occasional bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, reaching, ascending, and descending stairs or ladders.
