Meyer Utility Structures, an Arcosa subsidiary, is searching for a Quality Control Supervisor for our plant in Ft. Worth, TX to help fuel our continued growth and success. The quality supervisor will solve complex inspection issues and increase overall QA inspection capacity, efficiency, and effectiveness. This position will coach, lead, and mentor new and current QA inspectors.

What You'll do:

• Oversee the scheduling, training, and day-to-day management of QA inspector personnel
• Solve complex quality and inspection issues, consulting with QA Management and Operations on best practices
• Help streamline QA training schedules to ensure efficient and effective training of all QA inspector personnel
• Increase overall QA inspection capacity, efficiency, and effectiveness
• Drive an overall increase of training certifications for the entire QA department
• Conduct inspections (VT, UT, MT, etc.) on products as needed in order to help with inspection workload and increase plant throughput
• Work closely with QA Manager to ensure audit and calibration processes are closely followed and quality procedures are fully practiced by QA personnel
• Perform complex troubleshooting and repair of NDT Equipment
• Coach, lead, and mentor new and current QA inspectors
• Perform other duties as assigned

What You’ll Need:

• Advanced knowledge of NDT science and practices, as demonstrated through certifications, education, experience, or a combination thereof
• A high degree of dependability, maturity, and strong leadership characteristics as demonstrated through previous professional work experience
• Successful previous supervisory experience, preferably in a QA-related role within a heavy industrial manufacturing environment
• Experience in a metal fabrication or welding facility, specifically with flux and or metal core welding is high preferred
• Associate degree (Technical, Industrial, or Engineering) or relevant experience
• Regular and predictable attendance, a great attitude, and an ability to work well with a team towards achieving a common goal
• CWI certification preferred but not required, willing to obtain certification within one year
