- Safely and efficiently runs crushing plant to meet budgeted production goals
- Performs lifting, pulling, carrying and other manual labor tasks to operate equipment designed to crush concrete at site
- Assists in equipment maintenance tasks, reports equipment operation and safety problems to Production Lead/Foreman
- Ensures routine maintenance and inspection is performed on a daily basis and ensures safety and maintenance logs are accurately performed and up to date
- Produces reports of the previous business day’s plant production data and downtime
- Participates in safety meetings as scheduled
- Wears appropriate PPE at all times
- Recommends possible changes in operation to Production Lead/Foreman for improved productivity
- Performs other duties as required or assigned
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time at conveyor belt operation.
- Ability to climb heights of 40 feet on a regular basis
- Ability to lift, carry, and/or pull 50 pounds on a regular basis
- Ability to work in dusty, loud noise environment
- Required to wear safety equipment including hard hat, safety glasses, goggles, steel toed boots, ear plugs, respirator, gloves and various other similar items as required.
