This role is for the 24/25 ski season. 

Basic Function and Overview:

As a Snowcat Operator, you will groom and prepare the snow surface for the skiing guest. Operate some of the coolest equipment in the ski industry! Seeking self-motivated, coordinated, and meticulous people to save their days for skiing, and use their nights to return the trails to a perfectly groomed state.

Essential Tasks and Responsibilities:

Duties include, but are not limited to: 

• Ability to work in a safe manner operating slope grooming equipment.
• Responsible for slope maintenance and push projects utilizing a variety of snowcats.
• Must adhere to operational guidelines regarding safety and product standards.
• Minimize downtime through basic preventative maintenance, cleanliness, and upkeep of machines.
• Maintain good working relationships and communication with co-workers, supervisors, and other peers.
• Communicate with vehicle maintenance concerning mechanical issues.
• Ability to work holidays, weekends, and nights.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Abilities:

• Must be adept at operating equipment on varied terrain through adverse conditions at night.

Required Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience.
• A valid driver’s license with no restrictions is required.
• Terrain Park construction experience is a plus.

Physical Demands:

• Lift up to 50 pounds.
• Climb on and off vehicles frequently.
• Walk on snow, ice, and uneven ground.
• Sit for extended periods of time while operating the snowcat.
