Experienced Veterinary Assistant or Registered Veterinary Technician

We are family owned and have been serving the greater Sacramento area since the early 1970’s. We are AAHA accredited and strive to provide the latest and best medicine for our patients.

You’ll be part of a team that helps patients receive preventative care and you’ll treat patients that are sick, injured and need help. You’ll assist the doctors in our exam rooms and treatment area and you'll present treatment plans to our clients and explain home care instructions. You'll assist our doctors in our surgery suite, you’ll manage and monitor anesthesia to keep our pets comfortable and safe, you’ll perform dental cleanings and full mouth x-rays. You’ll use our in-house lab equipment so we can obtain fast, accurate results and you’ll assist with ultrasounds and perform other medical procedures to care for our patients.

Currently we are limiting this position to applicants with solid foundational skills including communication, venipuncture, anesthetic monitoring, radiographs, general nursing care, and client education. If you have experience with AVImark electronic medical records, that’s a big plus.

This position is full time (40 hours a week) and includes Saturdays.

Salary ranges starts at: $20.00/hour.
