Ardent Staffing Solutions is seeking a dynamic Junior Buyer to join our client’s team in Amherst, NH. This temp-to-hire position offers a fantastic opportunity to grow within a supportive and fast-paced environment. As a Junior Buyer, you will assist Buyers in ensuring materials are available to support production schedules.

• Work Location: Amherst, NH
• Work Hours: 1st Shift (7:30AM-4:00PM, flexible to 8:00AM-4:30PM OR 8:30AM-5:00PM)
• Pay Range: $22-$25/hr

Key Responsibilities of the Junior Buyer:

• Evaluate purchase requests, ensuring compliance with procedures and proper documentation.
• Negotiate with vendors to meet supply requirements.
• Process and enter Purchase Orders in our Sage ERP system.
• Research and order maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) supplies, production tools, and calibration equipment.
• Resolve supplier issues and handle returns professionally and promptly.
• Release work orders according to monthly build plans.
• Perform electronic inventory transactions to maintain accurate inventory records.

Education/Experience of the Junior Buyer:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years of purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 2 years of experience with electronic components, devices, and electro-mechanical assemblies.
• 2 years administrative background.
• Familiarity with MRP systems is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is essential.
