Ardent Staffing Solutions is seeking a Medical Device Assembly Technician to join our client's dynamic team in Wilmington, MA! You will contribute to the production of advanced medical devices and support all aspects of manufacturing including staging of material, kitting and material control. Does this sound like you?

Primary Responsibilities :

  • Assemble micro subassemblies and top assemblies under a microscope, following detailed written instructions.
  • Assemble utilizing a variety of tools and equipment according to specifications.
  • Adhere to GMPs, ensuring compliance with work instructions, quality procedures, and inspection protocols.
  • Complete Lot History Records (LHR) documentation accurately, following Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
  • Perform in-process and self-inspections as required.
  • Conduct product testing and final packaging, including pouch sealing.
  • Use adhesives like Loctite as necessary for assembly processes.
  • Meet or exceed weekly production goals.
  • Collaborate with management and supply chain teams to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing conditions.

Secondary Responsibilities :

  • Receive and transfer materials in ERP systems.
  • Prepare material kits for work orders.
  • Palletize products for sterilization.
  • Label, pack, and ship products for final distribution.

Qualifications :

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 5 years of experience in medical device manufacturing within a cleanroom environment preferred.
  • Basic understanding of quality management systems and regulatory requirements (., FDA, ISO).
  • Proficient in assembly, testing, and inspection techniques.
  • Ability to read and understand English-written procedures and specifications.
  • Capable of completing qualification training.
  • Experience with pouch sealing, testing, and visual inspection.
  • Familiarity with mechanical measuring equipment.
  • Proficient in computer use for retrieving drawings and work instructions.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and multitask efficiently.
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Physical Requirements :

  • Ability to work up to 8 hours using a microscope.
  • Strong dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
  • Close vision and ability to adjust focus.
  • Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds occasionally.
