Job Description:

As ASSISTANT INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY MANAGER, you will be responsible for optimizing the performance of our IT systems for the North America business (U.S., Canada, and Latin America).

This position will be based out of our Corporate campus, located 20 minutes North of Pittsburgh International airport.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build strong relationships with all departments to gain a comprehensive understanding of changing business needs and develop recommendations with a solutions-based approach.
  • Participate in Local & Global digital transformation projects to include CRM, Customer Portal, IT Support Enhancements, & Ongoing Customer Experience Enrichment.
  • Ensure critical system uptime and availability, specifically Office365, SAP, Cognos, Phocas, Azure and other Cloud Infrastructure, etc.
  • Provide Systems Administration, including maintaining user/group accounts, user configuration, trouble-shooting access problems.
  • Lead & Manage helpdesk system to best support employees across the business
  • Assist with connectivity, security, & maintenance of all Business Applications, On-Premises and Cloud Servers, as well as Network Infrastructure to include Wired, Wireless, Mobile, Firewall, SDWAN, & Voice.
  • Responsible for day-to-day support of EDI communication, as well as coordinating the setup, testing, and implementation of new Trading Partners and document mappings.
  • Manage database Administrator functions for Microsoft SQL Server, including installation and maintenance of the SQL Server software, and the setup of custom databases, Views, Stored Procedures, database / transaction log backups, and security for purchased or custom applications. Monitor automated stored procedures daily to ensure they are functioning properly (i.e., SQL backups, SAP data warehouse updates).
  • Manage hardware inventory, software licenses, and maintenance agreements.
Experience and Skills:
  • Minimum 5 years of IT Support Experience including hardware, software, and security.
  • Understanding of key business processes (order-to-cash, purchasing, accounts payable, sales, marketing, and CRM). Experience within a manufacturing environment is desirable.
  • Solution driven approach to problem solving; ability to troubleshoot, correct, and communicate solutions quickly.
  • MCSE or strong networking skills is preferred, specifically supporting complex multi-site networks.
  • Experience with SQL Server and application development is preferred.
  • SAP & EDI experience is preferred.
  • Excellent organizational skills. Proven background of managing and prioritizing multiple projects and end user requests.
  • Excellent relationship management skills. Strong team player. Understands "voice of the customer".
  • Confident and clear communicator with excellent listening skills
  • Enthusiasm for continuously learning new systems and systems solutions
  • Must be able to travel up to 10% including occasional overnight.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology preferred, or minimum Associates degree with relevant work experience.
