Job Description

The Senior Project Manager will lead people and processes to ensure that all brand projects are delivered on time and produce desired results. This position will develop detailed project plans, work with technical resources on product/process specifications, ensure resource availability and allocation, and uses problem solving techniques to deliver every project on time and within budget and scope.

CORE FUNCTIONS

  • Develop and lead detailed project plans to track progress across all brands using the appropriate systems, tools, and techniques.
  • Research and identify potential vendors for project requirements.
  • Lead internal resources and third-party vendors for execution of projects.
  • Work with technical resources, including Product Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, and others to determine project technical requirements.
  • Work with other disciplines, including Sales, Purchasing, Quality, and Operations to ensure that all product and process requirements are being met for each project.
  • Coordinate with site leadership and vendors to determine availability of resources.
  • Develop project plans, monitor, and report on project performance; this may include product development timelines such as tooling, manufacturing, or purchase of products according to timely release.
  • Responsible for identifying and developing KPIs as it relates to the project.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree is required, and / or equivalent education and experience combined.
  • 5 years of related experience and/or training is required.

Skills, Abilities, and Knowledge

  • Skilled in Microsoft Office products, including Excel.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and others.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Travel

  • Occasional travel may be required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • This position is subject to sedentary work; exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Sedentary work involved sitting most of the time. Walking and standing are required only occasionally.

Physical Activities

  • This position is subject to the following physical activities: standing, walking, talking, hearing, and the use of hands, wrists, or fingers in a repetitive motion.

Visual Acuity

  • The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; expansive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts and/or operation of machines (including inspection); using measurement devices; and/or assembly of fabrication of parts at distances close to the eyes.

  • This position primarily operates in an office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.
