What does a Caregiver Support Coach do?As a new Caregiver Support Coach at Area Agency on Aging Southwest FL, you can expect each day to be dynamic and fulfilling. Your schedule will be Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., offering a consistent routine to support caregivers in need. Your responsibilities will include providing guidance, resources, and emotional support to caregivers, helping them navigate their challenging roles with compassion and expertise.You'll have the opportunity to work closely with a dedicated team and make a real difference in the lives of those who rely on your valuable assistance. Join us in this meaningful journey and bring your passion for helping others to the forefront.Are you the Caregiver Support Coach we're looking for?To excel as a Caregiver Support Coach at Area Agency on Aging Southwest FL, you'll need a diverse set of skills and qualities. Proficient communication and presentation skills are essential for effectively guiding caregivers and providing them with valuable resources. While fluency in English and Spanish is a plus, it's not required. You should be prepared to engage in continuous learning through specialized training to stay current in your role.Having a comprehensive understanding of training methodologies and community resources will allow you to offer the best support possible. Your ability to connect with older adults with empathy and patience is crucial in this role, as you'll be their pillar of strength during challenging times.   • Demonstrated presentation communication and customer service skills.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required.
  • May be required to successfully complete or maintain specialized training.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of training plan curriculum and aid design and development
  • Knowledge of area programs
  • Community resources and services and internal Agency practices and policies.
  • Ability to work with older adults and display compassion empathy and patience
