Area Substance Abuse Council is Hiring a Women's Residential Treatment Program Manager Near CEDAR RAPIDS, IA

Description

Area Substance Abuse Council (ASAC) is looking to add a Residential Program Manager to our Heart of Iowa location in Cedar Rapids. The Program Manager will supervise and provide substance use treatment programming for Heart of Iowa, our program serving pregnant women, and women with children. The Program Manager will collaborate with HOI and ASAC leadership to ensure the quality of patient care, direction of clinical services and intakes, and the promotion of services in the communities.

as the Program Manager you will:

  • Provide clinical supervision, training, and guidance to counselors in delivering high-quality treatment and recovery support services to patients, and participate in hiring, training, and performance management of assigned employees.
  • Assist in developing ASAC's approach to treatment services, ensuring effective implementation of the program's policies and procedures.
  • Assist in ensuring program compliance with the state licensing standards, establish and maintain patient service goals for the program on an annual basis.
  • Monitor and complete the patient admission process to ensure program census expectations are met. 
  • Provide clinical oversight of patient care related to transfers, discharges, and adherence to treatment programming.
  • Ensure that proper clinical record keeping occurs and that each patient record is an honest and complete reflection of the services rendered by ASAC staff.

Requirements

Qualified candidates will have a bachelor's degree in human services, psychology, social work or related field and one year experience in a human service field. Supervisory experience is preferred. Must have or obtain a CADC within one year of employment. Must be knowledgeable about the clinical aspects of substance use disorder treatment and evidence-based practices. Possess the necessary leadership abilities to supervise staff and manage day-to-day oversight of program functions. This position requires a valid driver's license and the ability to pass an extensive background check
