As a Software Engineer at Arete, you are responsible for the software development of embedded and GUI software. Systems under development include data acquisition, system control and real time data processing. Ability to perform as a technical lead of an agile software team. You will implement new features and bug fixes for existing systems and perform testing using remote HIL/SIL test equipment. Other duties include directing and reviewing team updates to project software documentation and developing new software designs and presenting them at customer meetings. Work will include attending scrum meetings and the having the ability to self-direct and meet deadlines. This position is based out of Sonoma, CA and is an exempt full-time role.

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
• C and embedded development experience.

The salary range for this role is $160,000 to $230,000; however, Arete considers several factors when extending an offer of employment, including but not limited to: the position and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, and key skills .
Other RequirementsU.S. citizenship is required to meet position eligibility.
Selected applicants will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
