Job Summary

The Digital & Social Media Specialist is responsible for developing and implementing digital marketing strategies across various platforms including LinkedIn, Instagram, Google, and more. Under the direction of the Director of Marketing, this role involves managing social media accounts, creating engaging content, overseeing CRM marketing initiatives, and assisting with intranet management. The position requires critical organizational abilities, a deep understanding of digital marketing tools, excellent communication skills, and a creative mindset.

Essential Functions

• Embody the ARG Industrial Core Values of authenticity, taking ownership, being helpful and collaborative, having a desire to elevate and evolve, and exhibiting grit.
• Establish a cadence of internal messaging around ARG Core Values, ownership and community, using multiple delivery systems including email, text, and Paylocity to enrich our culture.
• Manage and maintain social media accounts including LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and other relevant platforms.
• Develop and execute digital marketing campaigns to increase brand awareness and engagement.
• Monitor and analyze social media metrics to measure the success of campaigns and optimize performance.
• Utilize CRM marketing tools such as White Cup for targeted customer outreach and engagement.
• Research, vet, and establish new digital marketing tools, online apps, and other systems for creating and expediting digital marketing.
• Manage Google accounts including Google Business and Merchant Center for product listings and advertising campaigns.
• Assist in the management and upkeep of the company's intranet, ensuring timely updates and relevant content.
• Create visually appealing content using tools like Adobe and Canva to enhance brand presence across digital platforms.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Working Conditions

• This position operates primarily in a remote work setting. A dedicated home space for working with minimal distractions and accessibility is a requirement.
• Access to high-speed internet is also required.
• Face to face video conferencing will be used for daily communication.
• Ability to spend long periods of time sedentary at a workstation.
• Ability to operate computer systems and other standard office equipment.
• Occasional evening and weekend work may be necessary to monitor and respond to social media activity.
• Collaboration with marketing and creative teams to align digital strategies with overall brand objectives.

Minimum Qualifications

• Successfully pass drug test screenings throughout employment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
• Proven experience in digital marketing and social media management.
• Proficiency in using social media analytics tools to track and report on performance metrics.
• Familiarity with CRM marketing platforms, preferably White Cup.
• Experience managing Google accounts including Google Merchant Center.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent evidence of educational proficiency or experience may substitute for degree.

Experience

Minimum of 2 years of experience in digital marketing and social media management.

Prior experience with CRM marketing, Google accounts management, and content creation tools like Adobe and Canva preferred.

Marketing experience is preferred.
