- Job title: Information Technology (IT) Security Analyst
- Reports to the Deputy Information Security Officer
- The role is based in Richmond, Virginia
- The candidate will work on-site multiple days a week
- The role involves implementing strategic approaches, plans, programs, and procedures to support the Information Security mission
- Job responsibilities include managing identity and access, IT risk management, business continuity and IT disaster recovery planning, security awareness education and training, security vulnerability management and security incident management
- The candidate will be responsible for documenting processes, creating business-focused documentation, providing insight on Security Architecture and IT Governance approaches, and researching and providing guidance on security policies/standards
- The candidate will collaborate with Business areas and cross-functional Enterprise Architects, partner with architects and technical team members, design/implement Enterprise Security/technology Patterns, consult with teams on initiatives, and research architecture governance, controls, and peer review processes
- The candidate is expected to have comprehensive knowledge of Information Security principles, practical experience in the field, familiarity with the Commonwealth of Virginia’s Information Security Standards and/or the National Institute of Standards and Technology Publication 800-53, and experience in monitoring IT environments for compliance with information security architecture policies and standards
- Desired skills include excellent written and oral communication, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and thorough understanding of customer priorities.
- Technical experience in Cloud-based technologies, Identity & Access Management, Vulnerability Management, firewalls, computer forensic techniques, databases, collaboration tools, web & mail services is beneficial.
