Job Summary:
The Restoration Project Manager will oversee all aspects of restoration projects from inception to completion. This role involves direct communication with clients, coordination of staff and subcontractors, and ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management within the restoration or construction industry, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct initial site inspections to assess damage and develop an effective restoration plan.
Prepare detailed project estimates and timelines, and secure approval from insurance companies and clients.
Coordinate and manage the scheduling of staff, subcontractors, and resources to ensure timely project progression and completion.
Maintain continuous communication with clients, providing updates on project status and addressing any concerns.
Ensure that all restoration work is performed in accordance with industry standards and local building codes.
Monitor project budgets, manage invoices and payments, and implement cost-control measures.
Perform quality control inspections to ensure the highest standards of workmanship and customer satisfaction.
Manage and document all project details, maintaining organized records of all significant project activities.
Resolve any project-related issues or disputes promptly and professionally.
Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in restoration project management.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management within the restoration, construction, or related industry.
Strong understanding of construction and restoration principles, techniques, and regulations.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
A valid driver's license and a clean record are required.
Experience with Xactimate is considered a plus.
Familiarity with DocuSketch or similar documentation tools is desirable.
