The Footwear Product Creation Operations Specialist supports the product creation team, which includes design, product development, product engineering, commercialization, quality, and materials. They maintain a well-connected and smoothly running operation that enables the cross-functional product teams to operate as effectively and efficiently. The Specialist focuses on alignment, communication, processes, and structure.

You’ll Make a Difference by

• Documenting seasonal and “offline” (Speed to market, SMU) calendar milestones from product concept to commercialization.
• Scheduling calendar milestone meetings (design check ins, design reviews, tooling reviews, factory allocation) as well as capturing and distributing action items and notes from meetings as requested.
• Partnering with Product Management team to schedule cross-functional meetings for Product Creation teams and capturing and distributing action items and notes from meetings as requested.
• Managing footwear team access and distribution of shared drive.
• Facilitating coordination of communication between HQ and remote teams as needed. (Ariat Asia Pacific and Ariat Mexico offices)
• Updating process documentation to align HQ and remote workflows and assisting in implementing process improvements.
• Processing product creation invoices and department level expense reports.
• Maintaining product data in Ariat’s PLM platform (Centric) and tracking projects
• Updating product creation, price modification request, and sample request SOPs
• Coordinating footwear product creation resource subscription renewals, new subscriptions, login credentials, and usage reports
• Assisting with other duties as assigned

About You

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Understanding of footwear product terminologies required.
• Minimum 1-year relevant work experience in footwear data management or product creation role.
• Demonstrated experience with data entry.
• Demonstrated experience with calendar management.
• Prior project management experience
• Proficiency with MS Excel
• Experience with Centric PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work in a deadline driven environment.
• Ability to build collaborative relationships.
• Proactive approach to accomplishing work.
• Strong attention to detail and process oriented

The hourly range for this position is $33 - $38 per hour.

The salary is determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data for geographic locations.
