Radiologic Technologist Temporary/Full-Time--No Benefits

Job Summary

We are looking for a Radiologic Technologist to join our team! The Rad Tech would be responsible for assessing patients and safely performing routine radiographic procedures in a busy Imaging Center. Training into other modalities is available and encouraged.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 1 year experience (Preferred)
• Certificates and Licenses: ARRT, AHDS and BLS American Heart Association
• Associate degree (A.A/A.S.) or equivalent to a 2-year college or technical school; and one – year related experience and/or training.

Responsibilities: The following job duties that may be performed are as follows:

• Follow instructions from Physicians regarding which area of the patient’s body needs imaging.
• Explaining the test to patients and answer any questions.
• Correctly position the patient and adjust the imaging equipment to the patient.
• Prevent unnecessary radiation exposure to patient by selecting correct technique.
• Working closely with the Radiologist and ensuring exams are completed thoroughly and accurately.
• Sending exams to PACs for reading.
• Cleaning and stocking all rooms.

EHR/PACs:

Epic (not preferred, training available)

Pacs (not preferred, training available)

License/Certification:

• ARRT certification (Required)
• ADHS certification (Required)
• BLS certification (Required)

Schedule/Location:

• Availability at our Eastside location
• Hours of Operation Mon-Fri 7:30am – 5pm
• Schedule is 9.5 hour shifts X 4 days

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Pay: $1.00 - $2.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
