GOALS Program Ambassador

Summary of Function :

Provide assistance to the GOALS Project Coordinator in career development, education, and advisement services to program participants ensuring vocational training, educational opportunities, career development, and access to resources necessary to transition program participants into long-term career success.

Typical Duties :

• Serves Students. Assist Project Coordinator in conducting outreach activities with high school, college, university, and industry stakeholders to meet the objectives of the grant project.
• Assist with social media and marketing for the GOALS program..
• Promote the offering of industry CEU courses in coordination with the AWC Reskilling and Technology Center.
• Assist in planning and executing the Annual AWC Student Industry Forum.
• Support and participate in strategic planning initiatives and perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications :

Declared major in Agriculture or related field

Preferred :

• Experience in outreach and recruitment
• Experience in general office duties
• Experience with social media and marketing

Position Type & Work Schedule :

• Part-time, no more than 19 hours per week
• Depends upon class schedule and needs of the department
• May require some Fridays, nights, or weekends
