Arizona is Hiring a Clinical Research Coordinator III, Department of Surgery (Part-Time) Near Tucson, AZ
Lead coordination across multiple study sites, including promoting/recruiting research participants and retaining participants in long-term clinical trials.
Explain STOP BLOQ study and consent research subjects.
Communicate and collaborate with research subjects and site research coordinators to complete data collection.
Develop and compile data analysis, entry, and management, including analyzing trends and data in recruitment.
Assist PI with manuscript writing.
Assist with coordinating new protocol submissions, renewals, and revisions to Institutional Review Board for multiple studies.
Assist PI with manuscript writing and literature searches.
Participate in the initiation and/or completion of research projects.
Record results of experiments: Tabulate research data and keep a detailed, easy to understand laboratory notebook.
Review progress, troubleshoot, problem solve, and evaluate and interpret experimental research project results.
Non-scientific lab management as needed; maintain and order supplies, schedule meetings, etc.
Day-to-day management of junior lab members and students.
Train new team members as needed.
Work across related clinical projects as directed by PI.
Attend lab meetings.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Excellent communication skills.
Great attention to detail.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple aspects of complex projects and programs.
Proficiency in Microsoft products (e.g. Excel®, PowerPoint®, Outlook®).
Familiarity with using REDCap to build and manage multiple projects.
