• Perform experiments utilizing genetic, molecular, cellular, and imaging approaches in both rodent and cell models.
• Collect, process and label samples in accordance with protocols and standard operating procedures.
• Performs a variety of laboratory or filed tests and experiments following detailed protocols. Sets up experiments and tests.
• Collects and complies research data. Completes basic calculations of test results.
• Cleans, sterilizes, maintains, and troubleshoots equipment, machinery, and instruments used for research.
• Maintain daily laboratory records/notebook and perform data analysis.
• Provides research administrative support including acquisition of lab supplies, coordinating schedules, handling intake, maintaining records and files.
• Participates in the preparation of technical reports, summaries, protocols, and quantitative results.
• Collaborate with lab staff and graduate students to carry out innovative research projects related to neurodegenerative diseases.
• Train undergraduate students in the lab.
• Prepares and presents technical reports and summaries of research.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Experience in rodent handling, experiments, and necropsy procedures.
