Core Responsibilities
· Daily cash application
· Monitor & prioritize incoming emails in jointly held mailbox
· Enter accounts payable invoices and process payments
· Communicate with vendors to obtain invoices, Form W-9, and other information as needed
· Record revenue transactions in accounting software weekly
· Help with daily and monthly cash reconciliations
· Assist with year-end tasks, including ensuring Form 1099 is issued timely and accurately for all vendors
Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field required
· Entry level position
· Ability to work proficiently within Excel and other Microsoft products
· Strong organizational skills: ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities effectively and meet deadlines
· Positive, energetic, optimistic attitude
· Critical thinker and someone who takes time to carefully analyze the tasks they are performing and understand the big picture
· Willing to take ownership of certain processes as directed and be given the freedom to manage those processes as seen fit within established guidelines
· Hybrid option after 3 months (3-4 days in office, 1-2 days remote
