About the position: We are seeking a motivated IT Enablement Coordinator to facilitate seamless collaboration between our IT department and other business units. This role focuses on coordinating cross-functional projects, creating comprehensive documentation for knowledge sharing, and enhancing internal communications related to IT initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1-2 years experience in a collaborative business environment and a strong interest in leveraging technology to improve organizational efficiency. What you'll do: Interdepartmental Coordination:
Act as the primary intermediary between IT and other departments, coordinating technology-related projects and initiatives
Facilitate regular cross-functional meetings to ensure IT efforts are creating business value
Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure clear communication of status, resource load, and timelines
Documentation and Knowledge Transfer:
Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for user facing IT processes, systems, and software
Create user guides, FAQs, and other learning materials to support technology adoption across the organization
Establish and manage a centralized knowledge base to improve information sharing and reduce redundant inquiries
Internal Communications:
Develop and implement communication strategies for IT initiatives, ensuring all staff are informed about technology changes and updates
Create and distribute regular IT newsletters, updates, and announcements to keep the organization informed
Coordinate with the Communications team to ensure consistent messaging about IT-related matters across all internal channels
Training and Onboarding:
Design and implement technology onboarding plans for new employees across all departments
Coordinate and deliver training sessions on new technologies and IT processes, tailoring content to different departmental needs
Process Optimization:
Collaborate with various departments to map current workflows and identify opportunities for technology-driven improvements
Document and analyze existing processes to recommend IT solutions that enhance efficiency and productivity
You should have: Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Information Systems, or a related field preferred
Knowledge of IT service management practices and ITIL frameworks is beneficial
Demonstrated ability to build relationships across various departments and levels of an organization
Experience:
1-2 years of experience in a role requiring cross-departmental collaboration, preferably in a technology-oriented environment
Proven track record in coordinating projects or initiatives involving multiple stakeholders
Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences
Strong organizational and coordination abilities, with experience in managing multiple priorities simultaneously
Proficiency in creating clear, concise documentation and visual aids using tools like Microsoft Office Suite, Visio, or similar platforms
Experience with internal communications tools and strategies
Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools is a plus
