Summary:

Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Hybrid (80% remote / 20% on-premises)

As a UX/UI Designer for Arkansas Childrens you will support our mission to advance child health in Arkansas by delivering exceptional digital user experiences. You will support the strategic marketing team by conducting user research, interviews and surveys, and translating findings into sitemaps, user flows, customer journey maps, wireframes, mockups and prototypes. You will execute design thinking workshops and implement UX design best practices to design the overall functionality of digital products and iterate designs in accordance with user testing to ensure great user experiences. Your work will improve the affinity of the Arkansas Children's brand.

Additional Information:

REQUIRED - minimum of two (2) years of the following experience:

UXUI portfolio that translates concepts into user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes

In-depth knowledge of qualitative and mixed-method UX research methodologies

Experience conducting user research, interviews, and surveys to inform design decisions

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, or similar

Basic knowledge of front-end and back-end development processes

Ability to apply design thinking principles and take a user-centered design approach

Excellent collaboration skills

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Hybrid (80% remote / 20% on-premises)

Description

Demonstrates good judgement in design thinking, research, and owns user stories with diverse scope

Translate concepts into user flows, wireframes, mockups and prototypes that lead to intuitive user experiences

Research, conceive, sketch, prototype and perform user-testing

Design and deliver wireframes, user stories, user journeys, and mockups optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces

Make strategic design and user-experience decisions related to core, and new, functions and features of website and mobile app

Take a user-centered design approach and rapidly test and iterate your designs

Conduct on-going research to better understand opportunities for improving digital experiences

Identify design problems and devise elegant solutions

Develop user journeys and journey maps

Collaborate with broader Arkansas Children's teams to incorporate design thinking and facilitate user-centric solutions
