NOW HIRING a Human Resources GeneralistThe Human Resource Generalist will support the Human Resource department by performing the following duties:
Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings. Conducts or acquires background checks and employment eligibility verifications. Compiles and maintains human resource records. Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, performance and talent management, productivity, recognition, and morale. Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance. Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law. Performs other duties as assigned.
Education And Experience
- 18 years old or older
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in Human Resources or related work preferred.
- Must have a working telephone or cell phone.
- Must have a valid Driver's License with immediate access to a legally insured vehicle.
- Must be able to drive an automobile, full size pickup, and a van.
- Must at least have auto liability insurance and must keep it current.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to parents, and employees of the agency.
