Key Responsibilities:Accounting Duties:
- Assist in managing general ledger accounts and ensure accurate financial record-keeping
- Help prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Support month-end and year-end close procedures
- Adhere to accounting policies, procedures, and regulations
- Conduct basic financial analysis to identify trends and anomalies
- Assist in developing and maintaining financial models for forecasting
- Help prepare financial reports and dashboards for management
- Analyze variances between actual results and budgets/forecasts
- Support the annual budgeting process by gathering data and preparing initial drafts
- Assist in developing and maintaining rolling forecasts
- Help monitor budget performance and prepare regular updates
- Identify potential budget variances and bring them to the attention of senior staff
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 1-3 years of experience in accounting or financial analysis roles
- Proficiency in Excel and basic financial modeling
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and basic financial analysis techniques
- Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools
