Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end billing process for custodial accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Review and validate billing data from multiple sources, resolving discrepancies
- Prepare and analyze monthly billing reports, reconciling accounts as needed
- Collaborate with client services and operations teams to address billing inquiries and issues
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance billing efficiency and controls
- Assist in month-end close procedures, account reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Provide support during audits by preparing schedules and documentation
- Maintain expert knowledge of relevant accounting standards, regulations, and best practices
- Train and mentor junior accounting staff members
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- 2 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in financial services
- Strong understanding of billing processes, account reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (NetSuite is a plus)
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
- Outstanding organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
