JOB DESCRIPTION: This position is a 1.0 FTE located at Gunston Middle School. Must be able to teach level French I and French II. RESPONSIBILITIES: Ability to teach French to middle school students. Bilingual (French/English) preferred. Strong sense of professionalism. Ability to speak, read and write in French. EXPERIENCE: Teaching experience in the above mentioned area Knowledge of best instructional practices Ability to integrate technology Experience in educational and instructional leadership Dual endorsed preferred Bilingual skills preferred QUALIFICATIONS: Must have or be eligible for Virginia licensure. French endorsement. Dual endorsement in English as a Second Language and/or Special Education, or in any other content area, is preferred but not required.
