Shop Manager/ Fire Sprinkler Systems

$20 an hour depending on experience, qualifications, and certifications. 40 Hours a week guaranteed if worked.

The Shop Manager oversees operations in the shop, processes job materials, operates heavy machinery to load and unload, and delivers equipment and materials to and from job sites. The shop manager maintains & tracks the shop assets and inventory, and oversees/does vehicle maintenance and upkeep. Out of the box thinker and a problem solver, not a problem finder.

The ideal Shop Manager MUST be able to meet the following requirements:

• Meet the physical demand of this position which includes lifting, squatting, and carrying up to 100 lbs.
• Working in the elements (loading and unloading).
• Have a valid Driver's License.
• Have a Presentable appearance.
• Be able to respond to after hours calls to support field technicians needing assets or materials.
• Be able to prep and haul heavy equipment and materials.
• Be well organized and possess time management skills.
• Possess good communication
• Possess good mechanical skills
• Possess computer skills

Not required but these skills would be a plus.

• Tool & equipment repair maintenance experience
• Small engine repair
• Able to weld MIG & Stick, certified or not.
