PRIMARY PURPOSE :

Pull lumber off table, inspect both sides and cut each strip according to knotsawyer cutting instructions, cutting any defects that will cause the board to break when going through the sidematcher.

This is a full-time, 1st. shift position, hours are 6 : 00 a.m. - 2 : 30 p.m.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

Qualified individuals must have the ability (with or without reasonable accommodation) to perform the following duties :

• Follow Job Safety Analysis guidelines to assure safe operations
• Pull lumber off table and inspect both sides and cut each strip according to cutting rules
• Turn each board to inspect both sides
• Cut a minimum of 9 boards per minute
• Cooperate with other knotsawyers to ensure lumber is trimmed properly
• Place any small pieces of lumber on belt
• Maintain cleanliness of area
• Perform other assigned tasks as needed
