Arnet Pharmaceutical Corp is Hiring an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic Near Fort Lauderdale, FL
Performs the job function in compliance with safety, health, environmental, and governmental regulations, and in compliance.
Supports machine setups as needed in supporting production daily goals.
Ensures the plant is clean and free of debris or clutter.
Performs record keeping functions (CMMS) such as documenting maintenance work performed and recording unusual operating conditions.
Performs various types of tests on mechanical and electrical equipment (Amperage, Volts, resistance).
Contributes to the efficiency of the department by offering suggestions and participating as an active member of the team.
Evaluates equipment and machine operation for repair needs.
Supports installation of new equipment
Removes and repairs various equipment and components.
Repairs hydraulic and pneumatic assemblies.
QualificationsOther duties as required or directed.
Bilingual English/Spanish required.
High school diploma or GED required (Associate degree, Trade School Certificate and/or Military Technical Training, a plus) Equivalent work experience may be substituted for technical/vocational experience. College or formal technical school education with demonstrated aptitude and skills in mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and welding techniques preferred.
3- 5 years of experience in the maintenance industry, preferably in GMP environment.
Technical Knowledge in Packaging processes (bottling and Blister)
Must have legible handwriting, and the ability to perform accurate documentation.
Good basic math skills.
Must be organized, capable of following instructions, and have the ability to coordinate multiple activities simultaneously.
Contributing effectively to the accomplishment of team unit goals, objectives, and activities.
Understand SOPs, GMP, safety guidelines and have the ability to complete all required documentation.
Should be familiar with safety protocols associated with lock out/tag out.
Ability to work without close supervision and to set one’s own priorities.
Ability to frequently lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to stand and walk for lengthy periods of time.
Proficient with computer systems.
Other: Work Schedule: Monday to Friday- 6am to 2:30pm
