Job Summary:
We are seeking an energetic and upbeat CHHA with a driver's license to join our team and provide excellent care for our client in Short Hills. Client is looking for someone who can assist them Saturdays and Sundays for five hours each day. Client has a car and would like a caregiver who can drive her car and accompany her to run errands as needed.

Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Provide assistance with mobility and transfers
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals
- Monitor and record vital signs
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Provide companionship and emotional support to patients
- Follow all HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality

Requirements:
- Experience in senior care or working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred
- Knowledge of home care practices and techniques
- Ability to provide compassionate patient care
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Knowledge of basic medical terminology and procedures
- Familiarity with hospice care is a plus
