Position: RN Nurse Director Ambulatory Care, Outpatient Clinic

The ARRA Group, a boutique healthcare recruitment firm, has partnered with our Hospital Client to hire a high-performing Nurse Director, Ambulatory Care. Overseeing all campus outpatient clinics and ambulatory surgery centers/ASC, the RN Director of Ambulatory Services will be accountable for the implementation of healthcare initiatives to enhance patient experience while identifying revenue opportunities.
The Nurse Director will transform Ambulatory Services to be “Best in Class” and serve as the subject matter expert and resource for all departments related to ambulatory care management activities.
Responsibilities

• Responsible for the strategic planning, administration, and operational management of ambulatory care services.
• Oversee clinical and administrative functions, ensuring high-quality patient care, regulatory compliance, and efficient use of resources.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals, administrative staff, and external partners to enhance service delivery and achieve organizational goals.
• Oversee the recruitment, training, and evaluation of nursing staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Develop and implement policies, procedures, and protocols to optimize clinical operations.
• Lead quality improvement initiatives and projects; analyzing clinical outcomes and implementing strategies for improvement.

Requirements

• New York State RN License
• BSN required; Masters Degree in related Healthcare Field preferred
• Proven leadership experience with demonstrated quality improvement results
• 5 year’s experience in Ambulatory Care, Hospital Outpatient Leadership
