Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Room (ER) team in Muskegon, MI. This is a 13-week contract position with the possibility of extension. The ideal candidate will be able to work night shifts and provide exceptional care to patients in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Room, assessing and treating patients with acute conditions.
- Collaborate with ER physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed.
- Monitor patient conditions, document findings, and report changes to the healthcare team.
- Assist in the stabilization and transfer of patients to other departments or facilities as needed.
- Ensure adherence to all safety and infection control protocols.
- Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, procedures, and aftercare.
Qualifications:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Michigan.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of recent ER experience.
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-stress environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Willingness to work night shifts and maintain flexibility in scheduling.
