Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Sterile Processing Technician for a 13-week contract position in Saginaw, MI. This role involves working 8-hour shifts, 5 days a week, with both day and night shifts available. The primary responsibility is to ensure the proper sterilization and assembly of surgical instruments and medical equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Decontaminate, inspect, assemble, and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment
- Operate and maintain sterilization equipment
- Adhere to safety and infection control protocols
- Ensure accurate record-keeping and inventory management
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to meet patient care needs
Qualifications:
- Certification as a Sterile Processing Technician (CSPDT or CRCST)
- Previous experience in sterile processing or a similar role
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work both day and night shifts
