Job DescriptionThe Rotor Blade Technician performs maintenance of rotor blades and associated blade parts, to include applying finish coatings on rotor blades.
Duties And Responsibilities

Duties And Responsibilities
- Read and interpret maintenance manuals or other technical data to determine the feasibility and method to perform the assigned task
- Inspect composite helicopter blades for damage to include cracks, voids and de-bonds
- Replaces or repairs damaged or worn composite rotor blade structure or blade parts using general hand tools or pneumatic tools and equipment
- Applies composite rotor blade finish coatings to include paints and sealants utilizing general hand tools and pneumatic finishing equipment
- Document all inspection findings and work performed/corrective action in the appropriate maintenance records
- Maintains work areas and tools in a clean and organized manner, practices proper tool and FOD control
- Performs work safely and utilizes the appropriate technical data for the assigned task
- Other duties as assigned.
- Prior experience in helicopter blade or sheet metal experience preferred
- Ability to work overtime and/or weekends as assigned dependent on production needs
- Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to be able to present ideas, concepts and proposals with a wide range of audiences at all levels both internal and external to the company
