Armed Security Guard- Bronx

Wednesday, Friday and Sunday : 10:00am - 9:00pm

$26.00 per hour

Position Summary:

The Security Guard is responsible for:

• Maintains the safety of the store and premises by providing a secure environment for employees and visitors with strong customer service
• Must be proactive and alert to protect company property and to deter theft, and respond to emergency situations with precision
• Monitors customer traffic entering and exiting the store and communicates suspicious activity to management
• Help to ensure security systems and safety procedures are adhered to
• Providing detailed reports on daily activities and any incidents that may have occurred to management
• Evicting trespassers and violators and detaining perpetrators while following legal protocols before relevant authorities arrive to take over
• This is a standing guard position and must wait for last customer to leave store before ending shift

Minimum Qualifications/Requirements:

• Valid NYS Security Guard License
• 1 year of security guarding experience
• Completion of 16 HR OJT Class required by NYS Licensing Division
• Valid CPR-AED certification a PLUS
• HS Diploma or GED
• Valid Driver's License and Clean Driving Record
• Must have valid License to Carry in New York.
