ArrowMark Partners is seeking to hire a Commercial Real Estate Fund Controller based out of its headquarters in Denver, CO.

Responsibilities:

  • Review and signoff of quarterly financial reporting packages as provided by third party administrators. Includes review of fee calculations (management and performance), partnership allocations, and waterfall schedules, as applicable.
  • Assist with coordination of capital activity including capital calls, distributions, and pref rebalances.
  • Serve as resource to marketing and investment teams assisting with investor inquiries, reporting requests, fund cash management and performance analytics.
  • Oversee funds’ treasury function associated with capital calls, distributions, private equity and debt investment funding, expense payment, transaction fee payment, etc. Plan and coordinate the annual financial reporting timelines for the funds with third-party administrators, auditors and tax consultants.
  • Review of fund financial statements and footnotes, ensuring accordance with U.S. GAAP and other applicable laws and regulations.

· Review of partnership tax returns, coordination of tax withholding payment, sponsor and investor K-1s & estimates, and any other ancillary tax reporting requests.

  • Manage and monitor third party service providers to ensure timely delivery of quality client deliverables.
  • Play critical role on valuation committee serving as conduit between committee, analysts, and 3rd party pricing sources
  • Work with Fund CFO and internal counsel on formation and launch of new investment vehicles including assistance with drafting of offering documents, participation agreements, and side letters, as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required, with degree (or significant coursework) in Accounting, Finance, or Economics preferred.
  • 5-8 years of fund accounting or administration experience.

· Understanding of private equity fund offering docs and distribution waterfalls

  • Exposure to wide range of real estate investments including multifamily, industrial, retail, office, student housing, etc.
  • Strong reasoning, decision-making, analytical and creative problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail, follows tasks through to completion and has a high sense of urgency.

Estimated Base Compensation1: [USD] The base salary range for this position is $110,000 - $140,000.

Annual Bonus Opportunity: Position is eligible to receive an annual discretionary bonus award. Individual bonuses are determined based on individual, team, and Company performance.
