Job Description :

Location : Billerica MA - Required 4 days on-site per week. 1 day Work from Home

ER / HR Employee Concerns experience, Review / Investigate Employee / Management Concerns

Support Supervisors / People Managers with coaching and consultation

Interpret Policies

Top 3 Responsibilities :

Intake of ELR concerns from both Supervisors / Managements. Interpret appropriate next steps per our internal ER procedures.

Submit concerns / cases into ServiceNow system and progress appropriately.

Evaluate concerns through investigation procedures and review with ELR Manager and Employment Law, when needed

Support People Managers with applicable Disciplinary or Performance Management concerns when needed.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned :

The position must be flexible as the role supports a 24 / 7 operation.

While the position will have standard office hours, the role may need to be flexible to attend meetings or conduct activities on 2nd or 3rd shift, as needed.

Counsels and provides partnership to employees and all levels of management across the full spectrum of employee relations matters in alignment with our practices, policies, and local labor legislation.

This work includes proactive workplace initiatives and strategies; workplace investigations and internal reviews; performance improvement and discipline processes;

end of employment / restructuring; labor relations; crisis management; and general employee relations coaching and conflict resolution.

Develops and leads proactive employee and labor relations strategies to contribute to a positive work environment by leveraging data, addressing areas of opportunity and minimizing risk.

Plays key leadership role in restructuring initiatives, resulting in employee transitions.

Specialist Career Stream : Typically, an individual contributor with responsibility in a professional discipline or specialty.

Delivers and / or manages projects assigned and works with other stakeholders to achieve desired results. May act as a mentor to colleagues or may direct the work of other lower-level professionals.

The majority of time is spent delivering and overseeing the projects from design to implementation - while and adhering to policies, using specialized knowledge and skills normally acquired through advanced education.

Differentiating Factors Autonomy : Established and productive individual contributor. Works independently with general supervision on larger, moderately complex projects / assignments.

Organizational Impact : Sets objectives for own job area to meet the objectives of projects and assignments.

Contributes to the completion of project milestones. May have some involvement in cross functional assignments.

Makes adjustments or recommends enhancements in systems and processes to solve problems or improve effectiveness of job area.

Contacts others to share information, status, needs and issues to inform, gain input, and support decision-making.

Leadership and Talent Management : May provide guidance and assistance to entry level professionals and / or employees in Support Career Stream.

Required Knowledge and Experience : Requires practical knowledge and demonstrated competence within job area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.

Requires a Baccalaureate degree (or for degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree which satisfies the requirements of 8 C.

F.R. 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) and minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with 0 years of experience.
