ARTECH is Hiring a SAP Functional Consultant - Production Planning (PP) Near Dearborn, MI
What You'll Do
- Collaborate with colleagues and teams in our Dearborn, MI office.
- Understand current business processes across all regions/plants.
- Analyze current Legacy Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and associated upstream and downstream systems.
- Work with stakeholders to transform current processes and legacy systems to industry-best standards with a focus on SAP PP.
- Conduct Requirements Gathering, Business Analysis, and Fit-Gap/Fit-to-Standard Analysis.
- Recommend technology/process solutions to address identified gaps.
- Support user acceptance testing, cutover activities, data migration, and post go-live support.
- Develop SAP S/4Hana PP across various sites globally, integrating with legacy and other applications.
- Coach and Train teams on SAP PP functions within end-to-end business processes.
- Provide continuous improvement recommendations.
- Stay Current on SAP trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
- Expertise in business knowledge, solution expertise, and consultation skills in the SAP PP module.
- Experience in SAP PP module deployment (greenfield/brownfield), configuration (Discrete/Repetitive), and working in an S/4Hana environment.
- Integration Skills with SIEMENS PLM, other PLM solutions, KINAXIS tools, MES systems, etc.
- Strong Communication skills with respect and empathy for team members and stakeholders.
- Experience in the automotive/manufacturing industry is a plus!
- Required: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related disciplines.
- Preferred: Relevant SAP Certification.
