Position SummaryYou will be responsible for leading the development and management of innovative and comprehensive product solutions tailored to meet the evolving needs of maritime business and stakeholders. You will be responsible for product strategy, development, and delivery, ensuring alignment with both current and emerging market demands, customer requirements, and business objectives.
Key ResponsibilitiesProduct Strategy and Vision:
  • Create and communicate a clear product vision and strategy aligned with current and emerging market trends, customer needs, and business goals in the maritime sector.
  • Define and prioritize product solutions and initiatives based on market research, customer feedback, and competitive analysis.
  • Put in place long-term product roadmaps and plans to drive innovation and differentiation in the marketplace.
Product Development And Delivery
  • Be a key contributor to the product development lifecycle, from concept to launch, ensuring the timely and successful delivery of high-quality product solutions.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, sales, manufacturing, vessel operations and marketing, to define product requirements, prioritize features, and drive execution.
  • Monitor project timelines, resources, and budgets to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget while meeting quality standards.
Relationship Management
  • Engage with customers, partners, suppliers and stakeholders to understand their needs, gather feedback, and validate product concepts and solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers suppliers and stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor and advocate for their requirements.
Competitive Intelligence And Market Analysis
  • Undertake market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends, market opportunities, and competitive threats in the maritime industry.
  • Stay abreast of regulatory changes, technological advancements, and industry developments that may impact product strategy and roadmap.
  • Use data and metrics to assess product performance, measure success, and inform strategic decisions.
Sales & Marketing
  • Work closely with sales and marketing teams to develop go-to-market strategies, promotional campaigns, and sales enablement tools.
  • Lead the planning and implementation of any on-water demonstration activities.
  • Support the sales team in identifying new business opportunities and preparing proposals and tender documentation.
  • Support the drafting of applications for federal grants and other incentive programs.
In Addition, The Ideal Candidate Will
  • Possess a fundamental understanding of end-to-end user, operator and customer experience integration and dependencies.
  • Understand regulatory requirements and have experience in working with regulatory bodies such as the United States Coast Guard.
  • Understand the importance of incorporating compliance into product design and ensure products meet legal and regulatory standards while still delivering value to users, operators, and customers.
  • Have the ability to develop appropriately detailed specifications for the product features so they are clearly understood by the commercial and engineering teams.
  • Be able to define and prioritize the customer requests, ensuring that the team is working on the most important features and items first.
  • Solve product-related problems, make decisions, complete trade-off analysis to stay on track towards business deliverable commitments.
  • Represent Artemis Technologies in front of stakeholders, clients, or users.
  • Attend team and 1-1 meetings and fulfil reporting requirements as required by Artemis Technologies.
  • Ensure compliance with Artemis Technologies’ policies and procedures.
  • Build good working relationships across Artemis Technologies.
  • Contribute to shaping a culture that reflects Artemis Technologies values and guiding principles and enables the company to achieve its goals.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, maritime or related field.
  • 7 years of product management experience with leadership experience.
  • Ability to travel extensively within the region.
