Position Overview:
The Payroll Manager holds a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of payroll processes. Responsible for overseeing the accurate and timely processing of multiple payrolls, managing tax compliance issues, and addressing all other payroll-related matters, this position requires adept navigation of complex payroll procedures and regulations, including those governed by the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).
Additionally, the Payroll Manager will play a key role in end-of-year processes, such as year-end tax reporting and issuance of W-2 forms. Moreover, the Payroll Manager will lead integration efforts for any new systems or processes, ensuring smooth transitions and optimal performance. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong understanding of payroll processing procedures, local, state, and federal laws, tax regulations, and FLSA requirements, coupled with exceptional leadership and communication skills.
The Payroll Manager contributes significantly to upholding the division's commitment to operational excellence.
