Arthrex is Hiring a Meeting and Event Billing Specialist Near Naples, FL

Requisition ID: 60551 Title: Meeting and Event Billing Specialist Division: Arthrex, Inc. (US01) Location: Naples, FL.
Main Objective:
Performs billing reconciliation of hotel invoices utilizing custom data tools and submits for payment on a timely basis. Responsible for the accuracy of resulting meeting specific data related to Healthcare Professionals and/or Organizations for the Meetings & Events Department in compliance with the Federal Physician Payment Sunshine Provisions along with existing and future state laws and restrictions. Performs supplementary duties to assist with database clean-up and/or meetings & events execution as requested.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Processes invoices from the Innovation hotel using PowerBI and Excel and submits invoices for payment to Finance in a timely manner. Reviews invoices for accuracy and works with the hotel to correct any errors in billing.
  2. Partners with the Meeting Planners to correct any issues with hotel billing and assists with rooming list changes.
  3. Assists Meetings & Events Data Analyst with monthly reconciliation of American Express meetings card charges, utilizing the Chrome River system.
  4. Manages projects as assigned associated with analysis, reporting, and monitoring with considerable autonomy.
  5. Partners with internal/external customers to maintain relationships and provides exceptional customer service.
  6. Performs database cleanup in Salesforce and Cvent to assist with larger data analysis initiatives.
  7. Any other duties requested by Leadership to assist with the planning & execution of events, including helping with registration check-in, wayfinding and setup.

Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Associate's degree preferred
  • 1 year experience preferred working in a Business, Finance, Accounting or Hospitality environment.
  • Experience with Excel, PowerBI or industry standard data analytics tools preferred.
  • Experience with Salesforce and Cvent applications is a plus.
  • Experience in the medical device industry or FDA-regulated environment is a plus.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:
  • Knowledge and understanding of accounting, billing, and hotel reservations.
  • Knowledge of PowerBI, Excel and their various reporting capabilities.
  • Business analytical skills with the ability to produce clearly articulated documents.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills required to interact with staff, colleagues, management and internal/external customers.
  • Ability to extract, interpret, and communicate insights from integrated systems.
  • Aptitude to manage multiple projects and priorities, tasks and coordinate various channels of communication at the same time.
  • Exercises considerable autonomy, is proactive and takes initiative with little direction, demonstrates desire to solve problems and be resourceful in seeking answers.
Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills:
Proficient in data analytic tools (i.e., Excel, PowerBI, business intelligence) computer software.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to comprehend and apply mathematical principles to the degree required to perform the job based upon job requirements.
Language and Communication Skills:
Ability to comprehend and apply language skills to the degree required to perform the job based upon the job requirements listed above. Ability to verbally communicate ideas and issues effectively to other team members and management. Ability to write and record data and information as required by procedures.
