Description
JOB TITLE: Radiologic Technologist
JOB TYPE: Full-Time/Day Shift
LOCATION: Rockville, MD - Free Parking
PAY RANGE: $33-38/hr
HOURS: 4 DAY WORK WEEK! Monday - Thursday, Fridays off!
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Operate Samsung DR, and GE Lunar Prodigy radiographic equipment.
  • Perform diagnostic X-ray films and DEXA exams as directed by physicians.
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
  • Document clinical histories and submit billing charges.
  • Manage image transfer to Picture Archiving and Communications System (PACS).
  • Utilize Microsoft Office- Outlook for administrative tasks.
  • Collaborate with the Radiology Manager and healthcare team.
  • Maintain X-ray and DEXA rooms, stock necessary equipment/supplies.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain compliance with regulations.
  • Attend staff meetings and pursue professional growth opportunities.
  • Performs related work as required to meet the needs of the company.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Associate's Degree in Radiography or higher
  • Current Radiographers Certification with ARRT
  • ARRT Bone Densitometry Certification (within 2 years of hire)
  • Radiographer licensure in Maryland, Virginia, and any future states
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a radiologic technologist
  • In-depth knowledge of radiology equipment and protocols
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to position patients accurately for optimal imaging
  • Proficient in electronic health records (EHR) and image management systems
  • Flexible schedule and willingness to travel
  • Commitment to patient care, safety, and confidentiality
