Operate Samsung DR, and GE Lunar Prodigy radiographic equipment.
Perform diagnostic X-ray films and DEXA exams as directed by physicians.
Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
Document clinical histories and submit billing charges.
Manage image transfer to Picture Archiving and Communications System (PACS).
Utilize Microsoft Office- Outlook for administrative tasks.
Collaborate with the Radiology Manager and healthcare team.
Maintain X-ray and DEXA rooms, stock necessary equipment/supplies.
Adhere to safety protocols and maintain compliance with regulations.
Attend staff meetings and pursue professional growth opportunities.
Performs related work as required to meet the needs of the company.
REQUIREMENTS:
Associate's Degree in Radiography or higher
Current Radiographers Certification with ARRT
ARRT Bone Densitometry Certification (within 2 years of hire)
Radiographer licensure in Maryland, Virginia, and any future states
Minimum 3 years of experience as a radiologic technologist
In-depth knowledge of radiology equipment and protocols
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to position patients accurately for optimal imaging
Proficient in electronic health records (EHR) and image management systems
Flexible schedule and willingness to travel
Commitment to patient care, safety, and confidentiality
