Currently, we are looking to welcome a Freelance Toy Packaging Production Artist, a skilled individual whose strength lies in production designs for the toy industry. This freelance opportunity is for one to two months and will be hybrid (three days onsite) in our client's Los Angeles, CA office. We are only seeking Los Angeles, CA, residents for this opportunity.

Your Expertise:

• A seasoned production artist with extensive experience in toy packaging design and production within the consumer products industry.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, exceptionally skilled in Photoshop and Illustrator, with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
• Demonstrated ability to take guides and create high-quality production design assets for packaging, layout, product descriptions, and more.

Your Responsibilities:

• Focus on production-heavy tasks, including taking guides, laying out logos, and highlighting products.
• Work closely with packaging designers to obtain necessary design assets.
• Occasionally, choose fonts or create borders around packaging elements.
• Coordinate with primary designers to ensure all assets meet quality standards and brand guidelines.
• Ensure adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards during the packaging design process.
• Provide support for packaging-related inquiries and assist with any production issues that arise.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in toy packaging design and production, with a strong portfolio showcasing successful consumer product industry projects.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly advanced skills in Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Strong understanding of toy industry standards and regulations.
• Ability to work independently as the sole production artist, handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively liaise with internal teams and external partners.
• Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality, visually appealing packaging designs.
• Must be able to work onsite three days in the Los Angeles, CA office
