Can you write clear, crisp, and creative B2B marketing campaign copy that informs and motivates readers? Our client, a global leader in human and animal nutrition, and the world’s premier agricultural origination and processing company, is seeking a proven Content Writer to join their Chicago team. Their B2B marketing campaigns reach audiences in a variety of industries around the world, through channels ranging from emails to web to social posts to video and more! As a result, you must be able to write for a variety of formats about various topics, and be a quick study with an eye and ear for detail.

Portfolio Note: In order to be considered, candidates must have 7 years of professional writing experience for an agency or in-house team, and a strong portfolio that showcases examples of both long-form and short-form content samples.

You Will:

• Develop content for Paid Media (SM, FB, LI), Sales Enablement Sell Sheets, Long-Form Sell Reports, banners (publications & websites), eBlasts and Case Studies
• Work collaboratively with a cross-functional team including a project manager, designers and marketing stakeholders
• Translate complex ideas into engaging and effective print, digital and web content
• Ensure that all content is on-brand, consistent in terms of style, quality and tone of voice
• Be a steward of best practices in messaging, grammar and style
• Work on Creative Cloud and use Teams to connect
• Be comfortable working in matrixed and entrepreneurial environments

You Have:

• Bachelor of Arts or equivalent degree within related disciplines such as English, Advertising, Marketing, Publishing or Integrated Marketing Communications
• 7 years of professional writing experience for an agency or in-house team
• Ability to craft original content and update existing copy across a wide range of channels and formats
• Ability to manage multiple projects at once in a fast-paced global organization
• Ability to communicate clearly
• A strong portfolio that showcases examples of both long-form and short-form content samples
• Previous food, ingredient and/or B2B experience is a plus!
• Technical writing experience is another plus!
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Project management skills, organization skills and an ability to multitask

• Onsite/offsite: Remote (CST candidates preferred, client operates in this time zone)
• Paid Training Prior To Start: min 3 to 4 hours
• Pay Rate: $40-49/hour DOE
