Are you a marketing director with a strong background of creative insight and understanding of analytical skills to improve marketing efforts and ROI? Our client is a San Francisco-based AI research lab focused on softwares that ensure all students have equal access to lectures and other educational content. They are seeking a full-time Marketing Director to be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing marketing campaigns and growth across all digital channels. As Marketing Director, you will significantly enhance brand awareness in the digital space, drive awareness, and acquire leads/customers. The role also involves content creation, excellent written skills, and a desire to come in and build from the ground up, not just outsource all the work.

Portfolio Note: In order to be considered, candidates must have 5 years of professional Marketing experience, specifically focused on growth, content creation, and understand all marketing tools.

You Will:

• Lead the digital marketing efforts, including social media, email marketing, search engine optimization/marketing (SEO/SEM), and organic growth
• Content creation for website, e-mail blasts, online blogs and social media platforms
• Analyze marketing data and key performance metrics to track the effectiveness of campaigns and optimize marketing strategies accordingly
• Lead the development of brand positioning, messaging, and creative direction to ensure consistency across all marketing channels
• Develop comprehensive marketing strategies that focus on brand and growth of brand
• Oversee the company's digital marketing strategy, social media, and organic search traffic, with focus on growth

You Have:

• 5 years of Marketing experience, specifically focused on growth, content creation, and understand all marketing tools
• Exceptional analytical & creative skills
• Strong understanding of organic growth SEO
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively across all departments
• Understand how to drive organic growth and not just use SEO tools
• Works independently & takes initiative to problem solve in a fast-paced environment
• Flexible & adaptable to change
• Strong understanding of brand development, digital marketing, and content creation
• Public relations experience a plus

Logistics:

• Projected Start Date: ASAP
• Fulltime position, 40 hours/week
• Onsite/offsite: 5 days onsite, San Francisco, CA
• Team Structure: Working with CEO, Director of Business Dev, and external clients
• Salary/Rate: $150,000 - $175,000 per year benefits & equity
